– 4 Foundations – build up regardless of suit. The Ace Foundation builds up by 1’s, the Two Foundation builds up by 2’s, the Three by 3’s and the Four by 4’s.
– 5 Waste Piles.
– The Deck at bottom right.
Tap the Deck to turn up 1 card at a time. Once a card has been turned up, it must be placed on one of the Waste Piles or Foundations. Waste Piles build without regard to suit or rank; basically any card from the Deck can play onto any Waste Pile. Cards in the Waste Piles can ONLY be played onto the Foundations – they cannot move from one Waste Pile to another.
Foundations build up in intervals of 1, 2, 3 or 4 without regard to suit.
-The foundation next to the Ace builds up by 1’s starting with a 2 (2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K).
-The foundation next to the Two builds up by 2’s starting with a 4 (4-6-8-10-Q-A-3-5-7-9-J-K).
-The foundation next to the Three builds up by 3’s starting with a 6 (6-9-Q-2-5-8-J-A-4-7-10-K).
-The foundation next to the Four builds up by 4’s starting with an 8 (8-Q-3-7-J-2-6-10-A-5-9-K).
The strategy of Calculation is found in organizing the Waste Piles so cards can be accessible to play onto the Foundations.
Move all cards to the Foundations to win.
Tips & Strategies:
It is important to be familiar with the sequences the Foundations build up in. Build down in the different sequences using the Waste Piles. Reserve one Waste Pile for the Kings since these cards will be the last to the Foundations. Do not move cards to the Foundations unless it will improve your Waste Pile sequences.
