Similar to Crazy Quilt and Japanese Rug, in this version cards are face-down until they can be moved.
Unravel the Quilt by removing cards that have a short side free.
~ Double Deck ~
– The Quilt of 64 interwoven cards.
– 8 Foundations – 4 start with an Ace and build up in suit. 4 start with a King and build down in suit.
– The Deck at top left.
– The Waste Pile beside the Deck.
Move cards from the Quilt to the Foundations or to the Waste Pile. Only cards with a short side exposed are available to move. All other cards are face-down.
Tap the Deck to turn up 1 card at a time into the Waste Pile. This card may be played to a Foundation, or it can be used to help unravel the Quilt. Available cards from the Quilt can be removed to the Waste Pile if the top Waste Pile card has the same suit and one rank higher or lower. For example, if you have a 5 of Clubs in the Waste Pile, you can move a 6 of Clubs OR a 4 of Clubs from the Quilt onto the 5.
When the Deck has been emptied, the Waste Pile will be flipped over to allow another pass through the deck. A total of 3 passes are allowed.
Eventually the Foundations of the same suit will meet (for example, one builds up from Ace to 6, the other builds down from King to 7). At this time, cards can be transferred between these Foundations.
Move all cards to the Foundations to win.
